Instruction at the Alabama Tennis Academy
With an instructor: camper ratio of 1:6, individualized court instruction emphasizes sound fundamentals, strategy for team and tournament players, sportsmanship and emotional control, as well as proper tennis ettiquette and rules. Included are life size graphic panels, advanced stroke production drills, skill tests, competitive matches for advanced players, and camp tournaments for both singles and doubles. In the mornings, court instruction is complemented by physical conditioning with strength and agility drills. In the evenings, instructional activites center on films, discussions, a video analysis of each camper, and an agenda of qualified speakers on stress, competition, and winning.
