  • Working with other nations on [non-proliferation].  All free nations have a stake.    Course of this nation does not depend on the decisions of others.  
  • Iran -- US supports the aspirations of their people to live in freedom.
  • N. Korean inciting fear but America and world will not be blackmailed.

  • not permitted to dominate a vital region and threaten US.  
  • UN Sec Council gave Saddam last chance but he has shown contempt.
  • Inspectors were not sent to conduct a scavenger hunt -- up to Iraq to show where hiding banned weapons and to destroy them.  Nothing like this has happened.  Anthrax, botulism, nerve gases not accounted for.  Thousands of security personnel trying to hide documents, intimidate scientists from cooperating.
