Paying your bill, alternative by invoicing (allow a few days, since this has to be done by hand):
You will receive an invoice from DBA AlaPSA via interactive PayPal, to the email that you supplied. You can then pay online the conference professional registration fee of $40 (now reduced to make Alapsa membership optional for non-political scientists). The discounted conference fee of $25 covers those seeking dinner only; students not on salary; international officers; and guests, who are not presenting but visiting a panel as an audience member. If you paid $65 and are a political scientist, your fee now includes $25 for AlaPSA membership. The conference price does not include membership in AlaPSA, for which you may pay $25 online, or by check, on site. For cancellations after 5 pm on Sunday 16 March, for those who ordered dinner, refunds will be subject to a catering fee of $25. In case of questions, cancellations or changes, contact the conference organizers at Alapsa@hawks.huntingdon.edu.

Book Hampton Inn (AlaPSA rate)
The Hampton, a recent hotel with top customer reviews, is in downtown at 100 Commerce St, about 9 minutes' drive from the college.

The conference program co-chairs are Dr. Mary Hampton of the Air Command and Staff College, and Dr. Jeremy Lewis of Huntingdon College. Assistants are Capt. Andrea Searor of ACSC and Zachary Turner, Student Government President of HC.

Two types of forums are welcome: panels of presentations with formal academic papers, and round tables of presentations and discussion without formal papers. We invited abstracts in December 2013 (up to 250 words, limited to two paragraphs) for individual papers and panel submissions, originally due no later than midnight on 14 February 2014.

Audiovisual technology: four classrooms are available Friday and four on Saturday; almost all have projectors with remote controls, and VGA connectors for laptops.
Accessibility: at least one classroom, plus one restroom, is an accessible, street level room in each session; the dining hall is also accessible, if not its restrooms. There are no elevators in the buildings.
Contact the organizers at alapsa@hawks.huntingdon.edu.
