11 additional hours of Biology and Chemistry Electives

This focused education provides the groundwork for graduate studies in cell and molecular biology, as well as an introduction to the field of biomedical research. While not encompassing all of the course requirements for medical school admission, the major does include most. Students interested in medical careers should also take physics with laboratory.

The Biology Minor

This program is designed for students who are interested in Biology, but who would prefer to major in a different field.  It encompasses a broad range of topics in biology in order  to provide a thorough general education in the field.
